ANZA VALLEY STORAGE
      Anza Valley Storage opened for business in the spring of 2005. The owners, Gerald and Stacy Clarke moved to the Anza area in 2003 to help with his family’s ranch. Looking to start a business of their own, Gerald built the Anza Valley Storage facility using his own two hands. Thankfully, the buildings came with detailed instructions! After a few months hard work, many Band-Aids and an equal amount of bottles of aspirin, Anza Valley Storage opened for business with one building, 18 units, and a 8’ perimeter fence. To lessen the environmental impact of the business, solar power was also incorporated. Since then, Gerald has built three more buildings that has increased the available units to 49. While Gerald is the builder (and janitor), Stacy is putting her bachelor’s degree in business to use by overseeing all accounting and rent collection. Gerald and Stacy plan on living out their lives her in Anza and truly appreciate the life they’ve been given. [See our ad at the right >]

      When Joan came to the United States, she worked for a Savings & Loan in Los Angeles, where she earned a Graduate Diploma from the American Savings & Loan Institute.  She left the bank to coninue her education at Cal State University Long Beach, progressing to the MBA program. Joan moved to Anza from Long Beach in 1979 where she was head accountant for a school bus company.  After two years of retirement, Joan was offered the position of Branch Manager/Vice President for Inland Savings & Loan, who were opening an office in Anza in October 1982.  in 1993 Joan left the bank to assist her husband, Jack, with his Immigratiion & Divorce business.
      Since moving to Anza, Joan has been an active member of the community.  She is a member of the Anza Thimble Club and has served on the Hemet Unified District School Board, Mt. San Jacinto Board, and the Anza Electric Coop.
      Joan has been a Registered Tax Preparer for 35 years, which means that she has to take 20 hours of continuing tax education and pass a test each year.  She is a Notary Public, which requires a test every four years.  She has also taken the training to become a Certified Loan Document Signer.
